Beef Mushroom Donburi

A quick & simple meal that is beefy, well-balanced, and most importantly, tasty! Just make an umami soy sauce marinade, toss it with beef slices, mushrooms, and a medley of vegetables, roast it in the Panasonic NN-DS59N 4-in-1 Steam Combination Microwave Oven, and you’ll have a healthy, flavourful meal!

Ingredients

  • 180 g Sliced beef belly sliced into bite size
  • 80 g Honshimeji mushroom cut
  • 80 g Brown swordbelt mushroom (optional)
  • 30 g Red pepper cut into 1cm pieces
  • 30 g Green onion cut into 3cm long
  • 1 pc Garlic sliced
  • 1 Ginger sliced
  • 400 g Warm rice

Sauce & Marinade

  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • tbsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tsp Corn starch
  • ½ tsp Caster sugar
  • Sesame seeds to garnish

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients for sauce & marinade into a bowl and mix well.
  • Add all the cut-ready ingredients to the sauce and stir well.
  • Spread the marinated ingredients in the centre of the grill tray and do not overlap the beef.
  • Place the tray on the lower shelf of our Panasonic Combination Microwave, select Combi 1 and set it up to 10-12 mins.
  • Serve the cooked beef and vegetables with warm rice.
