Ingredients
- 400 g Apples peeled, cored and sliced
- 400 g Pears peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- 1 ¾ cup Plain flour
- ⅓ cup Desiccated coconut
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- ½ cup Almonds thinly sliced
- 200 g Salted butter cubed and softened
- 2 tsp Cinnamon sugar
Instructions
- Place the cut apples and pears in a microwave/oven safe casserole dish. Sprinkle with ½ cup brown sugar and the cinnamon. Microwave for 10 minutes at 1000 watts, stirring halfway. Carefully remove from microwave.
- Whilst crumble filling is cooking, make the almond crumble. In a bowl combine plain flour, coconut, oats, almonds, brown sugar and butter. Using fingers, rub the ingredients together to form a crumbly consistency.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping over the cooked apples and pears. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar.
- Place the enamel tray on top of the glass tray and place the crumble into the microwave and cook on convection 180°C for 10 minutes or until crumble is golden and crunchy.
